Used generators will obviously be much more affordable than newer versions, but what about quality? Well actually most used generators, and especially those with full service history, are in great condition and will have about the same lifespan as a newer model. The obvious advantage is that the cost of generator hire is much cheaper than financing the purchase of a new or used model. It is obviously not practical to buy a generator for long term usage if you’re only going to use it once or twice, for example if you’re maintaining a factory or workplace and need a temporary power supply.
